But you have to get into the game

If you stopped preparing and started doing

Quit waiting until you’re perfectly ready…

And it’s time to let it out

For all the world to see…

To benefit from what you have to offer

When you’re all that you can be

But you’ll never be all you can

If you don’t take the first step & go!

Most of life is on-the-job training

And you’ll learn what you need to know

When you listen to the feedback

You’ll have the opportunity to improve

But you’ll never hear anything

If you feel fear and never move

You have to begin from where you are

Find A Way To Serve

When you seek success

As a means to support you

You may find it hard

To achieve what you want to do

But if your success

Hinges on service you offer

To those with a need

Your life will greatly prosper

When your efforts are

Focused on giving, not getting

You are serving others

…A precedent you are setting

For life will return

To you more than you have given

And the world will see

A life lived purpose driven

If you do not feel

That you are serving others

Think of things you love

And have importance to others

Find a way to serve

A group or cause that means something

…That inspires you

And give them an offering

Perhaps give your time

Offer your talents and skills

Know that in the end

When there’s a need, you have the will

Serve with all your heart

And you will receive in return

All of life’s blessings

That come from what you will learn

You can’t help others

Without helping yourself, too

Yet you do not serve

For what will be given to you.

Give More to Get More

In this world, the more successful you are

The more wealth there is for all to share

With tithing creating a spiritual alliance

Of people who love and care

You can tithe your time or your money

…Either way you will find

That what you get exceeds what you give

And it’s something to keep in mind

You don’t tithe because you want

You tithe because you’ve received

You are so blessed in your life

You give because you believe

That everyone who gives

Improves the lives of those in need

And when we love & care for each other

We can banish out the greed

When you give you also get

It returns multiplied to you

Whatever abundance you have shared

The universe will refresh and renew.

There are two ways to having more money

Spending less or earning more

And while the first hinges on denying

The second opens the door

When you earn more money

You can spend more, too

But first you should know how much you want

…And with it, what you will do

There are several ways to earn more money

You can be an ‘intrapreneur’

You can find a need and fill it

Or become and internet marketeur

Other options abound as well

But wherever you decide to invest your energy

The key is to provide more value

…Under-promising with over-delivery

It’s also wise to create multiple streams

Of income to support you

But be careful not to create multiple jobs

That can distract and thwart you

From the underlying goal

It is your purpose to achieve

…To earn more money and have more free time

And you can, if you believe

Believe in yourself and affirm your success

That money flows easily to you

And take the action, take the steps

That will make your dreams come true.

Master the Spending Game

There’s only one rule to saving money

And that is to spend less.

Spending too much creates debt

And often causes stress

If you look at all the stuff you have

That you’ve spent money on.

How many are rarely or never used

…Imagine if they were gone…

You’d have saved that money

And you wouldn’t be missing out

But still enjoying what matters

And that’s what life is about

If you want to be financially wealthy

You must first get rid of debt

And turn your focus from consumption to creation

…Imagine what you can get…

The lifestyle you desire

Can be yours, indeed

When you spend wisely

And earn more when there’s a need

If you master the spending game

You’re on your way to success

And you’ll be setting a good example

To those whose lives you bless.

And watch your savings burst

…The sooner you start saving

The more you will have to show

Don’t dip into your savings

To fund a bigger lifestyle

…Find a way to earn what you want

And you’ll have it after a while

Work to build your assets

And limit your liabilities

…If you’re not sure how

Find someone with the capabilities

To help you become a millionaire

Or achieve the life you desire

…Someone to help you get what you want

Or even propel you higher

It starts with paying yourself first,

Automatically is best

…Determine the percentage you want to invest

And learn to live on the rest.

When it comes to money,

As it is in life,

You get what you focus on

…Abundance or strife

When you focus on abundance

That is what you’ll attract

You must decide to be wealthy

And know what you want to impact

What will it cost to finance

The dream life you desire?

Both now and in the future

What do you want when you retire?

If you want to be financially successful

You must become conscious about money

…Know what you’re worth, know what you spend

And take time to learn about money

But wealth is about more than money

You possess assets of four kinds:

Human, intellectual, financial and civic

And you must keep them all in mind

When you optimize your wealth and assets

In a balanced way it would

Keep money in its proper perspective

- As a tool used for higher good

Money Thoughts…

When it comes to money, start with your mind
Decide what you want – visualize it as if it were already yours
Believe it’s possible and you deserve it –
And you must be willing to go through the doors

You’ll pay a price for money…in effort and perseverance
And when something gets in your way, find out how to clear it –
Often the roadblocks that hold you back
Are beliefs created long ago which no longer fit

Beliefs like money doesn’t grow on trees
Or money is the root of all evil, or you can’t have it all
There are a number of limiting beliefs…
Think what notions of money you can recall

Then turn those thoughts around – challenge your belief;
Say money allows me to create happiness & flows abundantly to me –
Create your own statements of inspiration
And make it a daily habit to repeat them so you’ll be free…

Free to believe what you hear…what you’re telling yourself
And if you don’t believe it…free yourself of that emotion –
Let it go and fight for what you want
Remember that it’s all about getting & staying in motion!

A class act is someone

Who treats everyone well…

With love, dignity and respect

It’s something you can tell

There are several characteristics

That identify a class act

…Use them as guidelines

Instead of taking them for fact

First and foremost is to live

By high standards that you choose

Take responsibility for your actions & results

…Even when you lose

Class acts also maintain dignity

And grace in the midst of fire

…With calmness that offers courage

And confidence that inspires

A class act is a role model

Who helps others rise

With courtesy, respect & generosity

…No matter who gets the prize

While more can be said about class acts

I’ll end my thoughts with this…

Treat everyone with respect and esteem
